Quick Start Guide - NLIS Tag Readers


  1. Register for your 12 months free software by creating a new account at https://www.livestockpro.app/register and then follow the instructions provided on this page : https://agrieid.com.au/pages/software-activation
  1. To create sessions and individual animal data and records : download the AgriEID Lite app from your Apple or Android App store by searching “AgriEID Lite” or follow the new user guide here https://agrieid.com.au/pages/agrieid-lite
  1. To connect your reader to your phone and download the EID tag numbers please download the AgriEID Link mobile app from your Apple or Android App store by searching “AgriEID Link” or follow the new user guide here : https://agrieid.com.au/pages/agrieid-link

 

SPP mode is used to connect your AgriEID tag reader to the AgriEID Lite and Link mobile application. When the scanner has been added as a bluetooth device in the mobile app, saved and selected it turns green and is ready for scanning to your session or to transfer tag numbers to your mobile device.

You can access the bluetooth modes in the "settings" section in your AgriEID device menu option and then select and save the required mode.

IHID mode is best selected when adding records directly into the AgriEID cloud application. Select this mode and then add the scanner in your mobile device bluetooth settings. There can be a slight delay when scanning as the scanner connects to your mobile device when you press scan. You can also use the notes app on your mobile device to scan and add tag numbers while still being able to add notes with the virtual keyboard in this mode.
